Muscle is essential for stimulating bone growth and I include weight bearing, resistance and impact in my exercise routines. Movement improves all areas of health - sometimes we need to challenge our bodies to stimulate bone growth and muscle strengthening but we can also use movement for relaxation and mental wellbeing. De-Stress
Yoga offers a powerful way to activate the parasympathetic nervous system — our body's rest and restore mode. Through gentle movement, mindful breathing, and meditation, it helps us return to a state where healing and balance are possible.
Posture
Every pose in yoga focuses on good posture. It is essential to correctly align our spines to avoid incorrect loading which can lead to fractures. By taking this awareness into our days - at our computers, scrolling on our phones or even when driving, we will preserve the integrity of our skeletal structure.

Strength & Flexibility
Through safe movement, yoga postures strengthen the muscles essential for supporting our bones. Greater muscular strength applies vital pressure on the bones stimulating them to create more bone tissue.
Balance
Preventing falls when bones are compromised is paramount. Holding poses to improve balance as well as mimicking balance with dynamic movement and working on Vestibular Occular Reflexes, prepares us to stabliise in a moment.
